Incarnate Word won the last time they faced United South and things went their way on Saturday too. The Shamrocks had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Incarnate Word had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-22, 25-16.

Lucia Lopez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Incarnate Word now has a winning record of 3-2. As for United South, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
