Bloomington South extended their winning streak to eight on Wednesday, bumping them up to 8-0. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northview Knights. The Panthers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Knights, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Everly Clark paced Bloomington South's offense, picking up 16 kills. Clark got some help from Charlie Monroe and her 21 assists. Monroe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

As for Northview, their record now sits at 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since August 20th.

Northview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brinley Deakins, who had 16 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Dehart, who had five digs and two aces.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington South will square off against Brownstown Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will challenge Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
