Baseball Recap: Yelm Victorious

Yelm came out on top against Auburn Riverside on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Tornados had just enough and edged out the Ravens 5-4.

Quillin Hadley looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Yelm's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Auburn Riverside, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-9.

As of now, neither Yelm nor the Ravens have any future games scheduled.
