Softball Game Preview: McMahon Senators vs. Staples Wreckers

McMahon is 0-10 against Staples since April of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Senators will host the Wreckers at 4:00 p.m. McMahon has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McMahon came up short against Stamford on Thursday, falling 20-3. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexa Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. Sami Horton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Staples came up short against Nonnewaug on Thursday and fell 8-5.

Staples' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for McMahon, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
