Basketball Game Preview: Rivercrest Rebels vs. Pewitt Brahmas

The Rivercrest Rebels will take on the Pewitt Brahmas in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Rivercrest came up short against Detroit and fell 40-32.

Meanwhile, Pewitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Bowie, falling 67-10. The game marked the Brahmas' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pewitt now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Rivercrest, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Everything came up roses for Rivercrest against Pewitt when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 53-24 win. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Brahmas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
