The Lumberton Panthers were the 56-55 winner over the Sacred Heart Crusaders when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Lumberton took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders on Tuesday. Lumberton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Raider Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sacred Heart, scoring 27 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Eli Bullock was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.

Lumberton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Sacred Heart, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-11.

Lumberton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sacred Heart will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in East Marion's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games.
