Volleyball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short

Brandon and Linden squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Brandon had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Linden Eagles. The Blackhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.

Hanna Pardon paced Brandon's offense, picking up nine kills. Pardon really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. Finally, Marin Painter kept Brandon's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Brandon has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Linden, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-9-1.
