Basketball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Comes Up Short

Michigan Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 29-27 to the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, with their most recent loss being a 29-27 defeat last Friday.

Michigan Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Michigan Lutheran will take on Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Buchanan will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Michigan Lutheran surely won't give up without a fight. As for Our Lady of the Lake Catholic, they will face off against Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
