Baseball Recap: Orangeburg-Wilkinson's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Orangeburg-Wilkinson not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Westwood Redhawks. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhawks, too.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson let Kaleb Jamison and Xavier Glover run wild. Jamison scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Glover scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs Jamison has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jordan Hill, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Westwood, they moved to 7-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will host Hanahan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westwood, they will welcome Spring Valley at 6:30 p.m. on April 1.
