The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wheeler, who defeated 237th ranked River Forest, 27-19.

Whiting extended the longest winning streak in Greater South Shore this week by beating North Newton, 48-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Oilers.

Hammond Bishop Noll's dynamic duo of Nick Thrasher and Jahari Davis proved tough for Calumet to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Thrasher threw for 125 yards and Davis had 90 yards receiving.

The Spartans' Jono Bigger and Schuyler Gargano have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bigger has thrown for 1,530 yards this season, while Gargano, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 17 catches for 440 yards. Ethan Young from Whiting leads the league in rushing with 790 yards.

As it stands, the Ingots are in second, while the Warriors are in third.

Jeff Cain's team took down North Newton 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Young ran for 165 yards in the win.
