Football Recap: Camden Takes a Loss

Camden's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 42-21 to the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blue Devils just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Camden's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Camden will face off against Chittenango at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, they will take on Central Valley Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils will be up against the Thunder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
