Johnston dropped down to 13-16 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 3-0 to the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Dragons have suffered since September 23rd.

As for Ankeny Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Mya Lei Butters was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight contests.

Johnston and Ankeny Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Dragons will challenge Urbandale at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th with a big rank advantage (76 vs. 205). Meanwhile, Ankeny Centennial (ranked second) will meet Washington (ranked 264th) at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
