South Park can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on the Platte Canyon Huskies with a sharp 17-10 win. The Burros' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Aiden Wilson was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Blake Basnett, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

South Park always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .724. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

South Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Platte Canyon, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Huskies beat South Park by a score of 13-4 later that day.
