Volleyball Recap: Oakman Comes Up Short

Oakman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Carbon Hill Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Oakman ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.

Oakman's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Carbon Hill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-5.

While Oakman had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
