After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph Central, Grace Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 72-68 W over the Tolsia Rebels. Grace Christian hasn't had any issues with Tolsia recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bryce Ray, who on his way to 29 points and four steals. Ray is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last three games he's played. Brody Harris was another key player, en route to 23 points in addition to six assists and three steals.
Despite the loss, Tolsia saw an underclassman step up: sophomore CJ Waller dropped a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bray Mollette, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.
Grace Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Tolsia, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
