Carroll County waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They never let the Grayson County Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The Cavaliers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

Carroll County pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Grayson County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carroll County will head out to challenge Floyd County at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grayson County, they will take on Galax at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
