            Basketball Recap: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Standing Bear Grizzlies        
        
		
        
        
            Lincoln Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They took  a  50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Standing Bear Grizzlies.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Standing Bear to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Sydnie Cain, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 13  boards. Another player making a difference was  Lily Hansmeier, who  posted 15  points and four  steals.
Lincoln Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Standing Bear, their win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-11.
 Lincoln Northwest and Standing Bear could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage  in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings. Lincoln Northwest will  face off against  Seward  on Thursday down  204 places (242 vs. 38). Similarly,  Standing Bear (ranked 161st) will meet Gretna East (ranked 19th)  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
