Softball Recap: Churchland Truckers vs. Granby Comets
If Churchland was riding high fresh off their 16-2 takedown of Norcom on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Truckers lost 13-3 to the Granby Comets on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Truckers in their meetings with the Comets: they've now lost seven in a row.
Churchland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Autumn Thompson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Thompson's first of the season.
