Baseball Recap: Mishicot Takes a Loss

Mishicot lost against Sturgeon Bay back in May of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers.

Mishicot saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jax Vogel, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Vogel has become a key player for the Indians: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-13 otherwise.

Mishicot has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Sturgeon Bay, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

Mishicot does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sturgeon Bay, they will face off against Marinette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
