Baseball Game Preview: North Canyon Rattlers vs. Buckeye Hawks

For the second straight game, North Canyon will face off against Buckeye. The Rattlers will be playing at home against the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: North Canyon has lost five straight at home , while Buckeye has lost four on the road.

North Canyon was handed a 15-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Buckeye 10-8. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rattlers considering their one-run performance the game before.

Anthony Miranda was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Hunter Dye was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

North Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Buckeye's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for North Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
