Volleyball Recap: Wickenburg Christian Academy Victorious

Wickenburg Christian Academy won the last time they faced West Valley Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lion came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1.

Jenny Blodgett was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 assists and nine aces. Those 18 assists gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Audrey Moder, who had seven kills and three digs.

They weren't the only good server: Wickenburg Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 18 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The win got Wickenburg Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for West Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Wickenburg Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Estrella on the 3rd. As for West Valley Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Verde Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
