Basketball Recap: Waite Comes Up Short

Waite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 51-4 defeat at the hands of the Beechcroft Cougars. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 68-26 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waite's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Beechcroft, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Waite will be home for the holidays to greet Rossford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beechcroft, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Beechcroft Cougars take on the Linden-McKinley Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
