For the first time in his career, Luis Otero scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 63 yards and one score as Santa Maria took down Skidmore-Tynan 42-12. We rated that as his best performance since November 8th, 2024, when he picked up 234 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Otero and Santa Maria will square off against Three Rivers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars haven't beaten the Bulldogs recently, having gone 0-5 since October of 2016.
