Thomas Jefferson and Gateway combined for 16 shots on goal on Friday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Thomas Jefferson Spartans put the hurt on the Gateway Olympians with a sharp 4-1 win. The Spartans' winning goal came courtesy of Henleigh McKenna.

The victory made it two in a row for Thomas Jefferson and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two games. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Thomas Jefferson will head out to take on Longmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Westminster at 4:00 p.m. on March 18th.
