Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Brophy College Prep

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Highland, Brophy College Prep was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Corona del Sol Aztecs as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Aztecs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Brophy College Prep was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-16.

Corona del Sol's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Evan Cornish, who had nine digs and two assists, and Leo Farnsworth, who had five digs.

Brophy College Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-10. As for Corona del Sol, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-22 record this season.

Brophy College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Liberty on the 24th. As for Corona del Sol, they will host Desert Vista at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aztecs are facing the Thunder at the right time seeing as the Thunder are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
