Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Heide Trask Titans, falling 4-1. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for South Lenoir it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Alonzo Lopez, who's now up to eight this season.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-10-2. As for Heide Trask, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Lenoir will square off against rival Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Heide Trask is set to challenge their familiar foe Pender at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
