Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nimitz last Wednesday, Eisenhower came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 5-2 to the Aldine Mustangs on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Eisenhower saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jay'Markus Smith, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Aldine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-3 record this season.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
