Basketball Game Preview: Francis Parker Lancers vs. Bishop's Knights

Francis Parker will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Santa Fe Christian, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Francis Parker took down Santa Fe Christian 57-42 on Tuesday.

Francis Parker found their leader in sophomore Tavid Johnson, who went 8 for 17 on his way to 27 points and eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least a third of Francis Parker's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Jones, who posted eight points along with ten boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Bishop's had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Maranatha Christian by a score of 60-53 on Tuesday.

Francis Parker is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Bishop's, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 13-11.
