Basketball Game Preview: Pleasanton Blu-Jays vs. Southeast Lancers

The Pleasanton Blu-Jays will take on the Southeast Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasanton hasn't scored more than 17 points for five games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Tuesday, Pleasanton took a blow against Crest, falling 37-9.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southeast). They claimed a resounding 65-34 victory over Northeast. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Lancers have posted against the Vikings since January 4, 2019.

The victory got Southeast back to even at 3-3. As for Pleasanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Pleasanton came up short against Southeast when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 39-34. Can Pleasanton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
