Volleyball Recap: Cardinal Spellman Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Cardinal Spellman lost against Bishop Feehan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Shamrocks, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cardinals have suffered since September 23rd.

While Cardinal Spellman was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.

Kaylee Perault paced Cardinal Spellman's offense, picking up 14 kills. Perault got some help from Marin Kearney and her 19 assists.

Cardinal Spellman's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9. As for Bishop Feehan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Cardinal Spellman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Arlington Catholic on the 16th. As for Bishop Feehan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Oliver Ames on the 16th.
