Football Game Preview: Morton Indians vs. Crosbyton Chiefs

The Morton Indians will head out to square off against the Crosbyton Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Morton will be strutting in after a win while Crosbyton will be coming in after a defeat.

Morton not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 18, 2024 (when they won 43-6). They took their game with ease, bagging a 33-6 victory over Ralls.

Meanwhile, Crosbyton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 55-0 defeat at the hands of Hale Center.

Morton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5-1. As for Crosbyton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Things could have been worse for Morton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 42-24 loss to Crosbyton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
