Football Recap: Park City Comes Up Short

Park City played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 39-3 defeat at the hands of the Ridgeline Riverhawks. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Riverhawks are ranked fifth).

Ridgeline had a senior duo take command as Nate Dahle threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns and Graham Livingston picked up 122 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Livingston didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Park City's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ridgeline, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Park City is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeline, they will head out to square off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
