Soccer Preview: Points Have Been Scarce for Polytech Entering Caesar Rodney + How To Watch

Polytech has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will host the Caesar Rodney Riders at 4:00 p.m. Polytech's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Polytech fell victim to Sussex Central and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Golden Knights, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Caesar Rodney faced Cape Henlopen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Riders fell just short of Cape Henlopen by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season Caesar Rodney have let down their home crowd.

Caesar Rodney's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Polytech, they have now lost 15 of their last 16 games on the road. That's part of the reason why they have a 1-9 record this season.
