Football Recap: Castle View Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Castle View played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 56-7 loss at the hands of the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles. The Sabercats haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Drew Reid threw for 113 yards and one touchdown. Riley Taylor was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards and one score.

Marquise Reese was his usual excellent self, throwing for 317 yards and five TDs while completing 90.5% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground for Mountain Vista. What's more, Reese racked up 169.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August of 2024. Brooklyn Bailey also helped out as he racked up 134 receiving yards.

Castle View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Mountain Vista, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

As of now, neither Castle View nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
