Basketball Recap: Globe's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Globe has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the San Tan Foothills Sabercats. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 62-37 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Globe's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for San Tan Foothills, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Globe will venture away from home to take on Miami at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Tan Foothills, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Catalina at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Catalina has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
