After a string of four wins, Horton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Troy Trojans. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

While Horton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18.

Horton now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Troy, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Horton has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Doniphan West on the 20th. As for Troy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Jackson Heights on the 20th.
