Marshall had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Pennfield Panthers. That's more bragging rights for the Redhawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jaden Spence was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brandon Baker, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Pennfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Marshall will challenge Harper Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pennfield, they will take on Parchment at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
