Soccer Game Preview: St. Edward's vs. Okeechobee + How To Watch

The St. Edward's Pirates will face off against the Okeechobee Brahmans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Edward's is headed into Thursday's matchup following a draw, the team's first since December 8. They and Jupiter Christian finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Okeechobee fell victim to Martin County and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Okeechobee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 424th, while Martin County are ranked 80th).

St. Edward's draw gives them a new season record of 6-3-4. As for Okeechobee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-1 record this season.
