Baseball Recap: North Central Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for North Central's offense. They came up short against the Chesterfield Golden Rams on Friday, falling 13-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered against the Golden Rams since March 25, 2022.

North Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Brazell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Brazell has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

North Central is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Chesterfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coming up, North Central will challenge McBee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chesterfield, they will be playing at home against Buford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
