River Valley hadn't done well against Meigs recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Raiders walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Marauders. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

As for Meigs, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Wellston at 5:00 p.m. The Golden Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Marauders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
