            Volleyball Recap: St. John's Bluejays vs. Minster Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            St. John managed to slip by Minster the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bluejays came up short against  the Wildcats on Thursday, falling  3-0. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in August of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17,  25-15.
 Madilyn Conley paced St. John's offense, picking up six kills. Conley got some help from  Alaina Martin and her six assists.  Kaylie Sunderhaus controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.
  Lauren Tyler was the offensive standout of the  match as she  had nine  digs, eight  aces,  and one  block. Those  eight  aces gave  her a new career-high.
St. John's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Minster, their win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-3.
 Looking ahead, St. John's will take on Lima Central Catholic at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Minster, they will face off against Anna at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
