             The Hackensack Comets will square off against the Wayne Valley Indians at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Hackensack will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  points  last Friday, then bounced right back against Eastside  on Friday. Hackensack took their  matchup on the road  with ease, bagging  a  35-7 victory over Eastside.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Wayne Valley). They breezed by Paramus at home  to the tune of  41-7 on Friday. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  27-0.
 Wayne Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Danny Ferrauilo, who threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elizer Estevez, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
 Wayne Valley's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Bryce Flower.
 The  victory  got Hackensack back to even at 2-2. As for Wayne Valley,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-1.
 Hackensack came up short against Wayne Valley when the teams last played  back in October of 2020, falling  24-14. Thankfully for Hackensack,  John Testa (who rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.2 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
