Basketball Recap: Comstock Comes Up Short

Comstock lost against Galesburg-Augusta back in December of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Comstock Colts were beaten by the Galesburg-Augusta Rams 58-19. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 693rd, while the Rams are ranked 264th).

This is the second loss in a row for Comstock and nudges their season record down to 1-21. As for Galesburg-Augusta, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.

Comstock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Galesburg-Augusta, they will face off against Hackett Catholic Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
