Volleyball Recap: Flagstaff Gets the Win

Flagstaff posted their closest victory since September 20th on Saturday. They skirted past the Sacred Heart Prep Gators 2-1.

Flagstaff found their leader in sophomore Grace Naleski, who had 15 assists and nine digs.

Despite the defeat, Sacred Heart Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Bella Jansen-Olliges had 11 digs and two assists.

Flagstaff's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season.

Flagstaff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Valley Christian on the 27th. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sunnyslope on the 27th.
