Caruthers scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 34-29 to the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Raiders of the 40-21 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Caruthers and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Sierra Pacific, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Caruthers will challenge Minarets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Raiders will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Sierra Pacific, they will take on Exeter at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Bears will be up against the Monarchs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
