Queen Creek had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Casteel Colts.

Alexis Mendez looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tayla Falquez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Abbey Redish was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Queen Creek's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Casteel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.
