Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Centerville walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Winchester Community Golden Falcons with a sharp 68-42 win on Friday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Winchester Community lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carter Campbell, who posted 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Cameron Baldwin, who put up 11 points.

Centerville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. Winchester Community is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.

Centerville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 61-57 victory against Northeastern on the 8th. Winchester Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
