Graves County typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday McCracken County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 13-8 victory over the Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Eagles on Thursday, they had to take a 4-2 defeat.

Ava Knight was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Layton Owens was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

McCracken County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Graves County only posted an OBP of .296.

McCracken County's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Graves County, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCracken County will host Livingston Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Graves County, they will be playing at home against Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
