Volleyball Recap: Claiborne Takes a Loss

Claiborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Hancock County Indians, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

While Claiborne ultimately came up short, they really made Hancock County work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-21.

Claiborne's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hancock County, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Claiborne is taking a road trip to challenge Middlesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hancock County, they will take on Cosby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
