Grulla came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to the La Feria Lions. The Gators' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Grulla's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for La Feria, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Coming up, Grulla will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Isabel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Feria, they will face off against Rio Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
